This commercial property never had a backflow preventer installed, and the owners decided it was time they did. We ordered in the right equipments and fittings and got to work. It came together quite well and we made sure all of the piping was now properly supported.

Removed a piece of history recently. This old sewage pump had finally started to really slow down and not work reliably on its own. So after some time of having to run the pump manually and having to grease it on a regular basis, this home owner wanted it gone. We got busy with the destruction part of the project and quickly realized, as much as it was old, it was made incredibly well. It was not an easy task, but we got the old pump all removed, along with part of the lid. We custom cut a piece of puck board to replace the half of the lid that had massive holes in it for the pump and float. Dropped the new pump in and hooked everything back up. This new pump should last these owners a long time, and they can retire their grease gun.

Some fixtures set on this beautiful bathroom renovation we’ve been working on. This one is turning out great, and we’ve only got the vanity to finish once counters arrive. Stay posted here for when we get to go back and hookup the double vanity.

New water pressure backup sump pump install. This home owner has had water issues in the past, and called looking to have a backup installed. We came in, got the waterline tied in and run across and sorted the drain hookup. This one was a little fussy on setup as the pit was not very big around or deep. But we found the right levels for both pumps to operate correctly and tested everything. This will give the owner piece of mind in rain storms, power outages, and if the main pump fails.

Outdoor shower install. This one was a little more involved than usual, with this being on the far side of a garage. We came in, setup the outdoor unit, and got busy stringing line across the ceiling. This is setup with multiple easy to access drains and shutoffs. So this homeowner can drain this easily themselves in the fall. Now they have a place to rinse off before they even go in the house.

Big boy water heater job. This this 51 year old 75 gallon gas water heater decided it had put in its last days of work. When we came to asses the situation on this one the bottom of the tank had opened up a mini Niagara Falls and was running straight into the floor drain next to the heater. And unfortunately due to poor placement the heater couldn’t just be shut down, as the valve feeding a greenhouse was tied in past the shutoff for the heater. We came in, tore the big boy out, and got busy re piping. Now everything here can be independently isolated, and the new water heater isn’t pouring water all over the floor.

Bathroom renovation job. This old rotten steel tub had to go, and needed to be back in before the new tenant could move in. We got our hands on a brand new acrylic tub and wall kit, got a new moen tub and shower valve and got busy. We also added laundry hookup into the apartment while it was vacant. We think this turned out great, and should last the new tenants many years to come.

Hot water re pipe job. This hot water line going into this 120 gallon storage tank sprung a leak. After some discussion with the maintenance staff it was decided just to re pipe a good chunk of that section. Once we got things drained down and started cutting everything apart it was obvious how thin the copper had gotten. We wound up replacing all the way into the storage tank and into the tankless heaters. Everything was leak free and running great once we started everything back up. This will give this section another chunk of time without issues again.

The week of rotten copper. This customer called with a small drip coming from their main drain. The small patch someone made many years ago finally let go. And part of the drain was already ABS, so we tied into it, and re did another small section. All the copper that’s left was a little more extensive to replace, and it seemed in quite good shape. This should have the drainage system good to go again for another long run.
