Sometimes a renovation job is exactly what it looks like...

And sometimes you open a wall and find something nobody expected 🫡

When we opened up the wall in this older home, we quickly realized there was zero insulation!

No insulation means there's nothing to block heat flow, temperatures are going to experience extreme fluctuations, and you're going to have high utility bills as you try to cool down or heat up the house.

It's a good reminder that older homes always have a story to tell and it's important to find someone who is going to take the time to discover the real issue.

What has been your favourite summer memory?☀️

One of my favourites from this summer was from the recent Marin Wildside Enduro in Montreal where I got to drop down some trails, hang out with an amazing community of riders, and enjoy the views.

I recently finished this project turning a side entrance (aka easy escape route) into a fully enclosed catio.

Now, this home has a safe, enclosed space for their indoor cat to get fresh air and outdoor stimulation without the worry of them running around.
