If your 🥬 is starting to look a bit cone-shaped like mine in this heat, it’s time to harvest it, because it’s about to BOLT! Just take the whole head, and put it in your fridge. Once it bolts, and sends out a stalk with flowers, the leaves will be tough and bitter, not nearly as nice to eat.
