Reid is one of the co-owners of Beaconsfield Plomberie, alongside Derek, and we thought it was time you got to know a little more about the person behind the business.

From the work he does on-site to helping run the company day to day, Reid plays a big part in what Beaconsfield Plomberie is today.

First up: meet Reid. 👋🔧

Il y a plus derrière une entreprise que ce qu’on voit sur les chantiers.

Reid est copropriétaire de Beaconsfield Plomberie avec Derek, et on trouvait que c’était le bon moment de vous en montrer un peu plus sur la personne derrière l’entreprise.

Entre son travail sur les chantiers et tout ce qui vient avec la gestion de l’entreprise, Reid joue un rôle important dans ce qu’est Beaconsfield Plomberie aujourd’hui.

A blocked main drain can turn into a much bigger problem.

At this Pointe-Claire home, a camera inspection revealed root infiltration in the main drain. After the tree was removed, we excavated the main drain and water line and installed a main-line backwater valve to help protect the home from sewer backups and flooding.

A backwater valve does one important job: it lets wastewater flow out, while helping prevent it from flowing back into your home.

Un drain principal bloqué, ça peut vite devenir un gros problème.

Chez ce client à Pointe-Claire, on a passé une caméra dans le drain et découvert que des racines s’étaient infiltrées dans la conduite principale.

Après le retrait de l’arbre, on a excavé le drain principal et la conduite d’eau, puis installé un clapet antiretour pour aider à protéger la maison contre les refoulements d’égout.

En gros, le clapet laisse l’eau sortir de la maison, mais aide à l’empêcher de revenir à l’intérieur si le réseau d’égout refoule.

Yes, the first photo is Reid, but it was created with AI.

Why? Because when most people think of a plumber, they picture someone fixing a toilet.

But the work we do usually goes far beyond that.

Excavators, deep trenches, blowtorches, concrete work, and installing backwater valves beneath the ground are all part of the job.

The first photo was made with AI, but everything that follows is very real.

Plumbing is about solving problems, protecting homes, and doing the job right from the ground up.

Oui, la première photo, c’est bien Reid, mais elle a été créée avec AI.

Pourquoi? Parce que quand la plupart des gens pensent à un plombier, ils imaginent quelqu’un en train de réparer une toilette.

Mais en réalité, notre travail va souvent pas mal plus loin que ça.

Excavatrices, tranchées profondes, travail au chalumeau, béton à casser et installation de clapets antiretour sous terre, tout ça fait partie de la job.

La première photo a été faite avec l’IA, mais tout ce qui suit est bien réel.

La plomberie, c’est trouver des solutions, protéger les maisons et faire la job comme il faut, du début à la fin.

We’re in the final stretch of the West Island Mission Food Drive, and there’s still time to make a difference.

If you’re able to help, we’d love for you to donate non-perishable food items. Every donation, big or small, helps provide food to local individuals and families who need it most.

This Mother’s Day, local businesses are stepping up.

We’ve partnered with a great group of local tradesmen and business owners for Purses with Purpose to support the women at La Passerelle.

We’re collecting purses (new or gently used) and filling them with essentials:

• Hygiene products
• Toiletries
• Small care items
• A handwritten note

Built on small actions, made stronger together.
