Rearscape Pools

From dirt to done.

A full backyard transformation, built one stage at a time. From excavation and pool construction to the final stonework, landscaping and finishing details.

Pretty cool seeing where it started vs. where it ended.

This is a serious pool equipment pad.

This full Hayward setup is running a 20’ x 40’ pool with a lot going on — 3 sheer descents, 4 pool lights, 2 LED bubblers, 4 deck jets, 2 fire & water bowls and 2 fire bowls.

Two variable-speed pumps provide the flow and power needed to run all those features, while OmniPL total pool automation and 4 powered actuators let you control the pool, lighting and water features right from your phone. Dedicated gas lines supply all 4 fire features.

Add in a saltwater system and this pad is doing some serious work.

A lot goes into the equipment behind a pool like this — and this one is loaded.

Details make the difference.

Custom fire bowls. Sheer descents. Clean lines. Every element designed to work together. The beautiful Graphix wall by Techo-Bloc ties it all together.

Now THIS is a transformation. 👏

When we first arrived, this Lake Simcoe property had a steep, challenging slope with very little usable space between the home and the waterfront.

The goal wasn’t just to change how it looked — it was to make the property work.

Using large armour stone, natural stone boulders and existing stone throughout the property, we reshaped the grade and created a substantial natural flagstone terrace overlooking the lake — complete with integrated stone steps and plenty of room to gather, relax and enjoy the waterfront.

One of our favourite parts of this project was working with the existing landscape. Incorporating natural boulders alongside the armour stone and irregular flagstone helped the new space blend into the shoreline and feel like it has always belonged there.

A challenging site. A lot of stone. And a pretty incredible before & after. 👏
