Yellow loosestrife is an old time favorite. It grows beautifully in full sun at my house and I have a customer who grows it in shade. Like any perennial it spreads, but it does not go wild. Don't worry about the name loosestrife. It is a different family than purple loosestrife. Yellow loosestrife is lysimachia and purple is lythrum.

Yellow foxglove is a true perennial, unlike many that are biennial. It will delight you every year!

These geraniums make excellent ground cover. They spread quickly but are easy to control. They have a lovely fragrant foliage and beautiful flowers in June.
