When companies give you quotes and you feel they are too high, please remember they have to cover the fuel that gets them to your yard/project. And we don’t really know how bad it’s going to get.

Most of us have already quoted with what we are seeing now…not what’s coming down the pipeline. We will all have to adjust for new projects coming up. I’m sure we are all doing what we can to help minimize cost to our customers, please keep this in mind.

What are you listening to when you step outside? We hear spring and summer sounds. The long long long winter has left us. Finally.

We are out in yards, cleaning up the old. Cleaning up the snow mold. Cleaning up all the debris from the strong winds we had over winter. We LOVE to see the fresh new start, the green coming through.

Pruning time is here…
Hydrangeas are beautiful. Here’s some information that can help you with yours.

If you grow the right hydrangea varieties, spring pruning can be a simple cleanup job instead of the stressful guessing game people make it out to be 🤍
✂️ Smooth and panicle hydrangeas bloom on new wood, so spring pruning usually works well for them
🌿 I like waiting until I can clearly see winter damage before cutting anything back
📌 My tip: prune lightly at first if you’re unsure, because taking too much is a lot harder to fix than taking too little

Snow removal is not for the faint of heart!!
It’s long hours, way past the number of hours you work at an office job.
It’s working in windchill temperatures that will have you hiding indoors.
It’s lifting, shovel, after shovel, after shovel of snow…for not just one household like you would do for your own property, but for 20-30 each time. Sometimes for a skiff, and sometimes when there is 20-30cm of snow…often with 3-4 ft drifts. (History shows there has been higher).
