On May 6th or 7th , at approximately 5:00 p.m - 7 am., our gravel pit was vandalized. Cables and tools were stolen, and heavy copper wiring was cut from equipment and conveyors. A brand‑new fuel pump was also taken. Gates and locks were not broken , they entered on foot.

Our team is extremely frustrated. Incidents like this directly impact our production, our timelines, and our morale. We work hard to provide our customers and our community with a reliable, locally produced product. Unfortunately, we now have to shut down operations to deal with insurance, repairs, and replacement of the stolen items.

If anyone in the surrounding area noticed a suspicious vehicle or activity around that time, please report it to the Barrhead RCMP Detachment.

1½" road crush is a mixture of crushed stone up to 1.5 inches in size combined with sand and fines. The angular rock pieces interlock when compacted, while the fines fill the gaps, creating a dense, stable, and load‑bearing base layer. It’s commonly used for road building, driveways, equipment pads, walkways, and retaining‑wall bases because it compacts extremely well and provides long‑lasting support.
