Planting day on Paudash Lake 🌿
Every plant from the nursery comes root-bound after its time in the pot. The trick most folks miss: gently tease those bottom roots apart and aim them outward so they reach into the soil right away instead of circling themselves. A little Grow Max in the hole gives them a stimulant to flourish, then flare the roots out and backfill.
One rule we never break: your hole should never sit deeper than where the plant grew in its pot. Match the topography around the garden and the plant settles in like it was always there.
Fun fact: those strawberry runners? Just punk them into the ground and poke them down. They’ll grow their own root system and spread a whole new patch on their own.
Good roots make good gardens. That’s where it all begins.
