👀 It might look unusual, but there's an important reason behind it.

Before construction begins, our crews use dye testing to confirm whether a sanitary service is active or has been abandoned. A dye strip or puck is flushed through the system, and if coloured water appears, we know the connection is live.

It's a simple but effective way to gather the information we need before excavation begins, helping our crews work safely, accurately, and efficiently while avoiding unnecessary disruption.

Sometimes the smartest part of a project happens long before the digging starts. 🚧💧

Moments like these are a reminder that the work we do reaches far beyond the jobsite. Building infrastructure also means helping create safer neighbourhoods, stronger communities, and earning the trust of the people who live there.
