We've been busy!

Saylor Plumbing is currently part of a very large school renovation project. We are near the end of the rough in stage for what will eventually provide the school with four newly renovated accessible washrooms.

Part of this project is to redo six classrooms, four of which will become science labs. The sinks from these classrooms will require electrofusion welded acid resistant drain pipes. The corrosive liquids will be treated by a neutralization system before entering the city sewers.

Saylor Plumbing will also provide the school will a new rooftop cooling unit and additional heating coils for the gym, both which will be plumbed into the existing system within the school.

This project involves alot of coordination and detail and the hard work provided by our team is shown with every stage we complete.

If you are living in an older home there may still be cast iron piping in the walls and beneath the basement floor. Although this piping has a long life span, over time it will deteriorate, crack and break. This can lead to solid waste (toilet paper, lint, grease) to collect and cause further issues.

This pipe we removed from a clients home is 4" in diameter, there was a mere 1.5" round passage left inside the pipe to allow drainage. It wouldnt have been long until it had closed up entirely.

Replacement of this piping can be intrusive to your home as it requires excavation of your floors and walls. Saylor Plumbing ensures that we take every precaution to leave your home as clean as it was before by using proper protection on your floors and furniture as required and by using dust free tools.

As the holidays approach Saylor Plumbing would like to remind everyone to stay safe and continue safe practices as we enter the second lockdown.

The newest member of the Saylor team was born yesterday morning. We are pleased to welcome Calysta Viola Saylor to the family.

Due to the type of delivery (c section) we will be closed briefly to aid in mom's recovery and to enjoy some family time.

Arrangements have been made as far as scheduling to accommodate any ongoing projects and we are still taking on new work.
