Nault Carpentry is expanding!

We are looking for motivated individuals that are interested in pursuing a career building homes.
No experience required, we will train and teach you.

We have openings in all the following positions.
Labourer/Framer's Assistant
Experienced Framers/ Carpenters
Experienced Truss/Roof Framers
Experienced Backframers

Health spending account for each employee after 3 months.
Majority of work in Arnprior year round.
Telehandler(forklift) on site.

Ideal candidates will have,
Strong work ethic
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to maintain focus
Ability to lift weights in excess of 50 pounds
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to receive constructive criticism

Labourer/ Framer's Assistant

Duties include
-Moving lumber and materials into place
-Setting up tools
-Assisting Framers with their duties
-Cleaning up scrap lumber
-Learning the processes as you work
-Cutting materials with power tools

Experienced framers.

Duties include
-Plating and leveling foundation,
-Joisting and sheeting floors
-Framing and leveling walls
-installing windows
-maintaining a clean and safe work environment
*experience with roofs an asset.
-ability to self motivate and work without direct instruction a huge asset
-Must have pouch and hand tools.

Roof/ truss framers

Duties include
-preparing trusses for crane
-reading truss layout and placing trusses correctly.
-cutting and installation of chips, step-up blocks.
-cutting and sheathing roof.
-installation of truss bracing as per plans.
-maintaining a clean and safe worksite.
-ability to self motivate and work without direct instruction a huge asset
-must have pouch and hand tools

Backframer

Duties include
-strapping ceilings
-straightening studs
-framing ceiling drops
-building shower/tub details
-Framing around stairs.
-building bulkheads and chases
-framing basements.
-maintaining a clean and safe workplace
-ability to self motivate and work without direct instruction a huge asset
-must have pouch and hand tools
