After spending his summer in Northern Saskatchewan fighting fires as a member of Carlyle Fire & Rescue and in Shilo, Manitoba completing military training, Zane has returned back to Arcola.

As a long-time Canadian Armed Forces and Fire and Rescue first responder, Zane had his bag packed not long after he got the request for members to assist up north.

Alongside other Saskatchewan fire departments, Zane assisted wildland fire crews from Saskatchewan, Quebec, Australia, and Mexico.

Gunner’s Plumbing and Heating is back in service and ready for your calls.

At the request for assistance from the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency, Carlyle Fire is sending our Wildland unit with two members to Weyakwin to assist with the on going Wildfires in northern Saskatchewan. The crew from Carlyle will be travelling up with two members from Redvers Fire with their tanker.

• Perform any upgrades or repairs you may want or need

The winter months can take a toll on piping. If there is damage to your cabin water systems after you fire it up, it can be a headache to locate the problem area, clean up the mess and prevent further damage – particularly with pumps and septic tanks.
