We are currently hiring:
Framing Carpenters
$20–$33 per hour

Labourers
$18–$25 per hour

We offer steady work with 40–50 hours per week, competitive pay based on experience, and a telehandler on site to help keep the job moving efficiently.

We’re looking for team members who take pride in their work, show up ready to work, and want to be part of building quality homes.

Meet Nick

Hound Dog Homes was founded by Nick Legere in 2020, starting as a two-person operation completing small residential projects and renovations.

Since then, the company has grown into a skilled team of five, including labourers, apprentices, and certified carpenters. The team has completed residential renovations and new home construction throughout Cumberland County and has been working at Fox Harb’r Resort for the last few years.

Nick’s wife, Megan Rushton, oversees the company’s financials, bringing a background in accounting and project controls. Megan is a CPA Candidate and is also pursuing a Bachelor of Interior Design.

Hound Dog Homes is a family-rooted business built on hands-on craftsmanship and attention to detail.
