Good morning (yes 11:45 still counts as morning😅) & happy Sunday! ☀️

We’re getting a quick post in before the football starts. 🏈 This black double-door installation features a Craftsman-style steel door with ¼ glass and a 2x3 grill pattern to complement the home’s historic Craftsman character.

A classic look with all the right details. 🖤

In a perfect world, I’d have all our before & afters laid out in the right order.

But this is not a perfect world and a photo of a white-sided wall just doesn’t hit the same as a brand-new 4-panel patio door. So for now, I’ll continue bringing you our specialty: the reverse transformation. 😂

After ——> Before ☺️

From a plain white wall to a brand-new 4-panel patio door, complete with a new structural support header and a clear view of the backyard. Now THAT’S a transformation!

Do you love the look of dark windows but not sold on black?

Black is a popular choice, but it’s not your only option! One of our favourite alternatives is Iron Ore … a beautiful, deep charcoal grey that gives you that bold, dramatic look without the starkness of true black.

Check out this recent full-house transformation featuring all Iron Ore windows, including stunning bay windows, custom shapes, and casements. 😍

Dark, timeless, and just a little different.

One door. A whole new look. 👏

This transformation took a traditional single door with sidelights and a transom and replaced it with a stunning full 9-foot fibreglass door in a beautiful oak grain finish.

Swipe to see the before, after, and one very pleased installer, Denis, admiring his work. 😉

Now THAT is an entrance!

Just because it’s 100 years old doesn’t mean it can’t be done! 👏

This home had its original century-old window above the kitchen sink, and we replaced it with a brand-new triple slider. A little piece of history, a fresh new look, and a whole lot more functionality.

Good morning, everyone! 👋

While we’ve been a little quiet online over the last couple of days, we certainly haven’t been quiet in the shop!

As a manufacturer, so much of what we do is still done by hand, by real people who show up every day and take pride in what they do.

It’s easy to think of a business as just a name, a building, or a product, but behind every window we make is a team of people who put their time, skill, and care into making it happen.

This Thanksgiving long weekend, we’re feeling especially grateful for the people who make Scheel what it is. ❤️

From our shop floor to our installation crews and everyone in between, we’re lucky to have the team we do.

Happy Thanksgiving weekend from all of us at Scheel Windows & Doors! 🦃

While Ottawa is full of amazing neighbourhoods (and plenty of places worth exploring!), I definitely have my favourites… and Manotick is high on that list.

So when we get to work in this little corner of Ottawa, you know I’ve got to post. A beautiful exterior upgrade for an equally beautiful part of Manotick!

There’s just something about this community that makes every project a little extra special. ❤️

Happy Sunday everyone! 🤗

And perhaps an even happier Sunday to this customer, who just got this stunning front door upgrade!

This bright red Craftsman-style door is packed with character, featuring a classic dentil shelf, a 3x2 door lite with grills, and a transom above to let in even more natural light.

The perfect combination of bold colour, traditional Craftsman details, and that timeless farmhouse feel.

From two windows to one whole lot of wow. 👏🏼

This patio door cut-in was no small transformation! We removed two existing windows, added a new header and structural support, and opened up the wall for a beautiful 4-panel patio door.

The result? More light, more access, and a completely different feel to the space. ✨

Swipe to see the transformation (and just a PSA, this was not done this Saturday morning, but a few weeks ago and one of many jobs that I still have to post😅)

Some jobs have the ability to take your breath away… sometimes because of the weight of the product, and sometimes because of how beautiful it is.

This one happens to be both.😂

A **very, very heavy door** and an absolutely beautiful finished result. This stunning fibreglass door creates a timeless, welcoming entryway for our client and we think it’s pretty hard to beat. 🤍
