Designed to be so much more than a place to park, this project combines a beautifully crafted custom garage with a covered porch that creates a welcoming space to enjoy the outdoors.

From foundation to framing, this Barrie renovation is taking shape.

This project includes a garage addition, along with a new laundry room and bedroom addition at the back of the home.

Our team is building the shell, bringing the structure from footings and foundation to framing, roofing and everything needed to create the new space.

This is the Mafell Drill Guide being put to work on this beautiful 10x10 Arch Cord Truss King Post, this post features a beautifully crafted bypass mortise and tenon joint. This connection insures the tenon and king post have enough relish behind the oak pins to withstand the forces this roof will need to withstand. Snow, rain, wind, gravity! HEAVY DUTY! 💪

Nothing says “job well done” like when clients invite you back for their next big project.

A few years ago, we completed a full exterior renovation on this beautiful Caesarea home. Now we’re back as the general contractor, bringing the next phase to life with a new garage, pool, cabana, and complete landscape transformation.

It’s been incredible to see this property continue to evolve, and we’re grateful our clients trusted us once again to lead the project from the ground up.

🌲 Tools of the trade # 3. This is one of coolest, fastest, and THE noisiest timber framing tool we have in the shop. It is a Chain Mortiser made by Mafell. It is made in Germany, so it is a very tough piece of equipment. Though it is not very forgiving 💪, Hang on Tight!

🔊 Tools of the Trade # 2, Framing Chisels.

We use these beautifully crafted, hand forged framing chisels to work all of our wood joinery right down to the line 💪

We keep them as sharp as we possibly can to prevent muscle fatigue, AND believe it or not, a smooth finish from a shaving SHARP chisel drastically decreases water absorption into the endgrain! 🌲

🌲 Tools of the Trade # 1. This is the second loudest tool in the shop 🔊, though it certainly provides the nicest finish!

This is the Makita KP312 12" Planer. We use this to surface some of our timber in house.

This exterior renovation in Alliston earlier this year gave this home an entirely new look and feel. We reimagined the front elevation with new roof framing, windows and doors, transformed the garage from two single doors into one double, added a custom rear three-season timber porch, installed a perimeter stone skirt, and finished the home with Hardie® Timber Bark siding, new shingles, soffit, fascia, and eavestroughs.

The result? A timeless exterior built to last.

A small change can make a big impact.

For this Orangeville home, we transformed the front entry by replacing the stucco cladding with beautiful cedar shake siding, upgrading the existing pillars with custom cedar pillars, and giving the entire façade a warm, timeless look.
