Flash Back Friday:
We helped this poor lady fix this mess a contractor left her. The guy clearly had no clue as to what he was doing... no corner beads, mesh everywhere including the inside and outside corners, botched drywall and mounds of compound slathered on as a first coat.
We dont normally finish someone else's work, especially botched jobs like this. If it were up to us it would have been gutted and re-boarded but the home owner had already gone through enough stress with lost time and money so we decided to help her out.
Some TLC and a lot of elbow grease and we were able to take care of the problem and give her the beautiful finished basement she imagined when she started the project.
Do your research before selecting a contractor, ask for references and photos of previous work and dont always go for the cheapest price, a lot of times you get what you pay for!
