This checkerboard floor looks simple. What's underneath is why it'll stay that way. 👀🔶

Here’s this kitchen, layer by layer:
1️⃣ Membrane first (the orange layer)
2️⃣ Thinset, combed out with a notched trowel
3️⃣ Levelling clips keep every tile edge flush while it sets

Then the clips come off and you're left with flat, straight lines, edge to edge.

Once the kitchen's finished, you'll never see any of it. That's the point.
