A bit of a tougher shower replacement on this one! 🔧🚿
The tile was sitting too high on the back wall, so we had to carefully remove some of it to get everything fitted properly.
The shower bar was also broken and needed to be replaced. The tricky part? Shower bars aren’t always standard sizes, and finding a replacement that covers the existing tile holes can be a challenge.
After a bit of work and some careful fitting, we got it done! 💪 Another tricky plumbing job checked off the list.

Customer was dealing with a slow kitchen sink drain that would back up into the other basin whenever it started to drain. Got the drain cleaned out and flowing properly again so both sides are draining smoothly!

Shower valve wouldn’t stop leaking, so it was time for a replacement. Swapped out the valve for the customer and got everything sealed up and leak-free again. Another plumbing issue solved.

Tub diverter was spraying everywhere when engaged, sending water all over instead of up to the shower head. Got the old spout swapped out and everything working like new again.
Included a few progress pics along the way. I always like to silicone the opening around the tub spout to help keep water out of the wall and prevent potential water damage down the road. Small details like that make a big difference.
Another happy customer with one less plumbing issue to worry about!

Customer-supplied water filtration system installed and commissioned successfully by Fairway Plumbing & Heating Ltd. Everything is up and running as it should. The UV light still needs a dedicated GFCI outlet, which will be completed by the electrician. Another job done right. 💧🔧

Another Poly-B replacement in the books! 🔧
This one had an interesting challenge. Part of the house was a split-level design, which meant working through a unique void space to access the plumbing. Jobs like this take a bit of planning, but getting the old Poly-B removed and replaced is always worth it.
Now the homeowner has the peace of mind that comes with a reliable new water system and one less thing to worry about. If you have Poly-B in your home, it's always better to address it before it turns into an emergency.
