The small details matter the most. I always machine for the over the edge cabinet pulls before the fronts go for finishing. Grain matching can be tricky, especially when you have different size fronts where the wood grain all needs to line up.

Built this kitchen for . Panel ready appliances are not my favorite, but they do take kitchens to the next level of being truly custom. This kitchen features built in paneled fridge, paneled pullout dishwasher, paneled undercounter bar fridge. Along with all the other goodies like dovetail drawers, garbage pullouts, pantry pullouts, spice and liquor cabinets, pantry rolling ladder and a place for the family pet to have a meal or drink of water. This kitchen truly has it all.

I completed this kitchen over a year ago and I'm just getting around to posting about it. How time flies. Knotty hick...

I completed this kitchen over a year ago and I'm just getting around to posting about it. How time flies. Knotty hickory lowers, hood fan cabinet and floating shelves. Cream colour lacquered uppers and dovetailed drawers.

Had the 2nd Airdrie Scouts in the shop over the weekend working on their Cub cars and Scout Trucks. Teaching them shop safety and how to properly use wood working tools. Always a pleasure to give back to the scouts.

In this kitchen we replaced the small island with a much bigger one and incorporated a small wine fridge, garbage/recycle pullout, front storage cabinets, and a bigger sink cabinet. We maintained the same shaker style and finish to match the existing kitchen. We also converted a 2 door cabinet with shelves to a 3 drawer bank with undermount slides. The last modification we did to the kitchen was the addition of a liquor drawer and pullout for glasses.
