We asked Michael his thoughts on the Canadian Senate, and he didn't hold back: it's an unelected body that's out of touch and unaccountable. He even went as far as calling it “the stupidest thing” he's ever heard of. Harsh? Maybe. But does he have a point?

Why do we have a system where some of the most critical decisions are made by individuals who aren't answerable to the public? In today's age of transparency and accountability, isn't it time we demand more from our governance structures?
