Well this was a hard one haha. Took about 16 hours to complete all in. Had to replace two steel posts for a chainlink fence and that clay filled ground did not make things easy! But some clever use of my trucks vehicle Jack and we got them out and got it all redone! Client was super happy with the results!

One of my projects this week was a honey do list. It involved cleaning and mending eavestrough on a bungalow home, repairing wood damage on some patio posts and replacing an aged section of fencing with new panels. The fencing replacement took about 5.5 hours and turned out great!

Stuck working all weekend, in classic small business owner fashion, only to realize today is exactly 1 year since I did my first job for my very first customer! Apologies for my messy tool shop, but it's funny to think that one year ago I owned about 5% of the tools I own now and was completely clueless. Proud of how far Havenborn has come in its first year!

I started this basement reno what feels like 17 years ago, but luckily my friends are very understanding and patient as I slowly built their basement and my handyman business at the same time. Today, 380 labour hours later, I hand off the remaining work to the homeowners and begin focusing more on my handyman side. Looking forward to drinking b**r on the couch, instead of swinging a hammer the next time I visit!
