A new chapter for Pr1mo Electric & Access — and a milestone I’ll never forget has been confirmed. ♾️⚡
I am incredibly proud to share that I have officially been approved and registered as a Citizen of the Métis Nation of Alberta (Otipemisiwak Métis Government).
For me, this goes far beyond a piece of paper or a registration number. It connects my family directly back to generations of Métis trade masters, boat builders, and wilderness navigators—the original O-TEE-PAYM-SOO-WUK ("the people who own themselves").
I’ve been holding onto our new Pr1mo Electric & Access logo design until this moment was official, and with National Day for Truth and Reconciliation approaching, the timing couldn't be more meaningful.
If you look closely at our new logo, right in the heart of the structural steel truss—representing the heavy access platforms, and electrical foundations we build every day—is the Métis infinity symbol. It represents endless growth, resilience, and the bridge between our history and our future.
Building an Indigenous-owned trade business in Alberta is about setting an example for my kids, creating lasting value for our clients, and proving what’s possible when you honor where you come from while building where you're going.
Thank you to our clients, crew, family, and community for standing behind Primo Electric & Access. We are just getting started!
