This one was a full gut down to the studs. All new subfloor, all new drywall, and a completely new layout with all new finishes.
We built a curbless walk in shower with in floor heating, and the heat runs throughout the whole washroom rather than just the shower. The glass is a freestanding panel that goes floor to ceiling at nine feet. Inside there is a triple mitre niche with no trim, a linear tile drain, and a rain head with a handheld on a slider bar.
The freestanding tub is the centrepoint of the room. It sits under the window looking out over the whole Fraser Valley. We are up on Sumas Mountain here and you really cannot beat the views. A chandelier above it adds an elegant touch.
The custom millwork and cabinetry is one of our favourite parts of this washroom. Two custom built vanities, with the main one running floor to ceiling towers on either side. Garden oak finish with slab doors, and everything is grain matched across the panels so it reads as one piece. All of our cabinetry comes with soft close hardware and hinges throughout.
Quartz countertops with undermount sinks, and blue picket tile carried from the counter right up to the ceiling. That was to bring a beach feel into the room at our clients request. There is a towel warming rack on the wall as well. This bathroom really got the whole nine. Don’t believe us? Swipe for the before!
