How much soil is excavated during a retaining wall project?

While we have answered this before, this question has been brought up quite a bit lately, so we figured we would touch on the subject again.

Every project we have done, the client is in disbelief with how much soil is removed. Simply put, this is due to the amount of soil that is excavated for the base of the retaining wall, and the fact that excavated soil grows 1.3x in size once removed from the ground.

These two factors mean we are dealing with a lot of soil!
While we would love to keep soil on site to cut down on labor and disposal costs, it's just not feasible unless our customer lives on acreage.

What type of weather do we work in?

We work in every type of weather, even snow! Very rarely will we have to shut the site down (we did have to shut down for one day due to a big snow storm a couple years back).

When you book a job with us, we give you a timeline of when your job will be completed and we always hit the mark.

It is important to us that your project gets completed in a timely manner so that you can enjoy your new project, and do not need to live in the "construction phase" for too long!
