Entry-Level Outdoor Positions — Full-Time Summer Work
Landshapers Contracting Ltd. is seeking motivated students to join our team for the 2026 summer season. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, want to stay active, and are eager to learn practical skills in landscaping, gardening, and property maintenance.
About the Role
As a Summer Student Labourer, you will support our landscape and maintenance crews on residential, commercial, and strata properties throughout Abbotsford and the Fraser Valley. This is an entry-level position, and all training is provided.
Primary Responsibilities
Lawn Care & Grounds Maintenance — mowing, trimming, edging, raking, and debris removal
Garden & Plant Care — weeding, mulching, watering, pruning assistance
Landscape Installation Support — moving soil and mulch, planting shrubs and trees, assisting with hardscape preparation
Site Cleanliness & Safety — keeping work areas organized, safe, and presentable
Equipment Handling — basic use of hand tools and small power equipment (training provided)
Crew Support — assisting team members with daily tasks and project requirements
What We’re Looking For
We welcome students with no prior experience — attitude and work ethic matter most.Ideal Candidates Are:
Reliable and punctual, with consistent attendance
Physically capable of outdoor labour (lifting, bending, walking, working on uneven ground)
Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Positive, cooperative, and willing to learn
Able to follow direction and work safely around equipment and crews
Interested in outdoor work, landscaping, trades, or hands-on learning
