YOUR BUILDING MAY BE TALKING.
ARE YOU LISTENING?

Pests rarely appear without leaving clues.

Gnaw marks on a cable.
Grease marks along a wall.
Droppings behind equipment.
Mud tubes around a structure.
Repeated flies in one area.

These are not just “signs of pests.”

They are information.

At LDPS, we don't simply look for pests. We read the evidence they leave behind to understand where they are coming from, what is attracting them, and how they are moving through the environment.

Because effective pest management isn't about reacting to what you can see.

It's about understanding what you can't see.

Not Every Termite Needs to Be Destroyed

Termites play an important role in natural ecosystems—they help break down dead wood, recycle nutrients and contribute to soil health.

At Lethal Dosage Pest Solutions, we believe effective pest management is not about destroying everything we see. It’s about understanding the pest, assessing the risk and
managing the conflict between pests and people.

When termites are where they belong, we respect their ecological role. When they threaten your property, we apply targeted, responsible and environmentally conscious solutions.

Pest management with purpose—not destruction without distinction. 🌱🐜

FUMIGATION ISN’T EVERYTHING!

In pest control, the word “fumigation” is often used to describe almost every type of pest treatment. But technically, that’s not correct.

Fumigation is a specialised process involving a fumigant acting in a gaseous state to control pests within an appropriately enclosed or contained space.

But what about cockroach spraying, rodent baiting, termite treatment, mosquito control, bat exclusion or residual insecticide applications? These are different pest-management methods with different objectives.

COVID-19 also added to the confusion. During the pandemic, spraying, misting and fogging with disinfectants were commonly referred to as “fumigation.” However, disinfection is not the same as pest-control fumigation, and a fogger is an application device—not a fumigant.
The takeaway?

Not everything that is sprayed is fumigation.
Professional pest management is about correctly identifying the pest, selecting the appropriate treatment, and accurately describing what was done.

Fumigation when it’s fumigation.
Disinfection when it’s disinfection.
Rodent control when it’s rodent control.
Termite treatment when it’s termite treatment.
Let’s use the right words. Let’s raise the standard. 🧪🪳🐀

IPM is like security for your business. You don’t wait for a break-in before installing a security system.

You identify vulnerabilities, monitor what’s happening, prevent problems where possible, and take action when necessary.

Pest management works the same way—IPM is about staying ahead of the problem, not chasing it after it has already become one.

We Don’t just control pests. We Manage the risk.

Yesterday, Our Lead Technician and Termite Specialist, Ob, treated a termite mound that had been causing concern around the client’s property. This morning, when he returned for a follow-up inspection, he discovered something unexpected — out of curiosity, our client had hired someone to dig into the mound to see what was happening inside.

Rather than simply relying on what could be seen from the outside, our team brought in endoscope technology and inspected the internal chambers of the mound. What we found was remarkable: clear evidence that the treatment had achieved its intended result.

At Lethal Dosage Pest Solutions, we don’t just treat pests — we verify the outcome. From treatment to inspection and technology-assisted confirmation, every job is approached with precision. 🐜🔍

Treatment is one thing. Proving success is another.
