"If you want to be wealthy, learn to dig your own well. The greatest fortunes belong to those who create opportunities, not those who wait for them." โ Coach David Grace ()
As an entrepreneur, one of the most important shifts you can make is moving from waiting for opportunities to creating them. It is easy to look around and wait for someone to give you a chance, offer you a job, fund your idea, or open a door for you. But sometimes, the opportunity you are waiting for does not exist yet; you have to create it.
"Digging your own well" means developing the ability to create value from what you already have. Your skills, knowledge, creativity, relationships, and experiences can become the foundation for something that generates income and creates opportunities for others.
This does not mean you have to do everything alone. It means you take responsibility for creating your own path instead of making your future dependent entirely on someone else's decision. Instead of asking, "Who will give me an opportunity?" begin asking, "What opportunity can I create?"
This week, look at what you already have in your hands. What problem can you solve? What skill can you develop? What service can you offer? What idea can you turn into something valuable? Remember, the people who create opportunities are often the ones who eventually create wealth.
