Successful delivery of the Morupule B Coal Shed Project
We are proud to announce the successful completion of the Morupule B Coal Shed Project for the Botswana Power Corporation, a monumental milestone that highlights Unik Construction Engineering's capacity to execute complex, large-scale industrial infrastructure.
Standing at 36 m high with a 140 m clear-span steel space frame, 15,430 m² of roof coverage, and 12 to 20 m deep piled foundations, this facility is engineered to protect approximately 40,000 tonnes of coal. It provides up to two weeks of crucial dry storage, ensuring a reliable fuel supply during the rainy season and supporting uninterrupted electricity generation for the nation.
Executing these complex works safely within a live operating environment without disruption to ongoing power station operations is a testament to our team's meticulous planning and technical excellence.
