PREACHER OF THE DAY:PROPHET OT
MESSAGE TITLE: OBEDIENCE AND FAITH

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: MATTHEW 21 VERSE 18-19

The plan of God about us is to be fruitful and multiply. Failure to be fruitful and multiply displeases God.

The scripture tells us about the man Christ who came across a fig tree. The Messiah was hungry at the time, as such he commanded the tree to bear fruits and it failed. The Lord cursed the tree. Tomorrow Him and his disciples passed the same tree, Peter told the Master that the tree has withered yet it was green yesterday. Christ told him that He cursed the tree because of its failure to obey His command and voice.

The fig tree is likened to believers who fail to obey the voice of God. Being unfruitful is a curse.

In psalms 1 verse 3, God told us to be like trees planted by rivers of water that bears fruits in seasons. The Lord expect us to be fruitful regardless of economic decline or situations because He gave us a special kind of wisdom to always see good in situations. God also gives believers secrets in His kingdom before a situation comes, that is why there should not be an excuse in a believer who is not prospering. Failure to bring fruit can make the Lord bloat us away from His presence.

Time wasted never returns as such we should do anything and everything to be fruitful in what we do. Wrong mindset has made us poor that's why prosperity is killed. A poor mindset is deadly hence needs to be changed. As believers we need to think abroad, understand what we carry and walk with integrity.

Obedience is better than sacrifice, let us learn to be obedient and we will reap fruits .

Obedience and faith can not be separated. There is no how you can have faith and lack obedience.

MESSAGE TITLE: FATHER TO THE REJECTED
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: MARK 10 VERSE 46

In the bible God promised to restore the days that the locusts have eaten in the life of his own. God restores even the time spent facing rejection.

David in the bible was ordained as a king after facing rejection. Moreover, Joseph who was rejected by his brothers who even sold him to slavery, surprisingly at a later time he was promoted and lived a lavish life.

Bartimaeus was in a high level of hierarchy of poverty that he resorted to being a beggar as such he was rejected. The devil thought begging was a disgrace to Bartimaeus but it was his appointment because God is the father of the rejected.

Bartimaeus when he saw Jesus Christ he shouted for mercy, although people opposed him,he continued shouting all the more because he knew Christ is here for him. He cried and asked for mercy from Christ until Christ heard and called him. The carrier of blessing asked Bartimaeus what he wanted and told him he needed healing and was healed. The beggar who was rejected was blessed and healed by the mercy of God.

If you are facing rejection seek God ,ask for forgiveness and mercy from God He shall bless and heal you.

PREACHER OF THE DAY:PROPHET OT
MESSAGE TITLE: ENQUIRE AND INVOLVE GOD IN YOUR DECISIONS
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: 1 SAMUEL 30 VERSE 1

David was coming from war, children and women were held captive and destroyed. He was full of disappointment. Those who were with him at the war wanted to stone him to death because he was a leader. Instead of listening to them, David ran and enquired from the priest what to do in this kind of situations.

This shows that whatever we want we must enquire from God. Allow Him to speak through the prophet.

We fail due to failure to enquire or invite God in the midst of our situations and the results is pain.

David wanted to go after those who held their women and children captive because he had capable soldiers but he didn't take the decision without the assurance of the Lord.

As christians we are too desperate hence fail to consult and enquire from God,the result of this is always pain. Do something because God said so not what individuals are saying.

Enquire from God in every decision, don't use your intelligence capacity and feelings because whatever done without involvement of God is destruction and is in vain. The destruction is seen in future because God affects the future and not the current.

It is better to listen and adhere to what God is saying for He knows our future, even the number of our hair. Wait until He speaks and you will go far.

When David was stressed,he strengthen himself with the word of God to get assurance. Failure to strengthen yourself with the word of God can make an individual to take a wrong decision. Be obedient and listen to the voice of God to avoid loss and frustration in the future.
