Can I keep it open for extended periods? 🔓

The answer is yes, you’re in full control. ✅

Locinox pedestrian gate motors MAGNUS and VENUS support extended open times thanks to smart software features.

The duration of the opening time can be easily controlled by connecting an external clock to the input connector of the motor. The gate remains open for the entire duration of the control signal. ⏱️

Whether it’s for peak traffic hours, scheduled access, or specific site requirements, the system adapts to your needs.

What happens when the power goes out? ⚡

A question that was frequently asked at the Fencetech trade fair in Indianapolis, USA.

For the Locinox pedestrian gate motors MAGNUS and VENUS, the answer is clear: your gate remains safe, predictable, and under control.

If the gate is closed when the power cut occurs, it cannot be opened manually, unless it is equipped with a handle that operates the latch bolt.

If the power outage happens while the gate is in an open or partially open position, the gate can be manually pushed closed and allowed to fall securely into the lock.
Thanks to the unique back drivability of our pedestrian gate motors, manual closing remains smooth and controlled during a power cut.

When the power returns, the motorized gate does not suddenly move, ensuring maximum safety 🛡️. After receiving a new opening signal from the connected access control, the motor slowly closes in a controlled way before reopening automatically.

Designed with real-world safety in mind and fully aligned with ADA requirements♿, ensuring gates remain operable with limited force when it matters most.

Champions deserve champion systems. 🏆

FC Barcelona became Spanish champions last weekend.
A moment that perfectly reflects a stadium where ambition, innovation and top performance come together.

We are proud that Locinox is part of this impressive project with solutions that contribute to reliable, safe and durable access in and around the stadium. 🏟️

In this project, MAGNUS Black, Electradrop R and Powerstone 24V 60 W come together as one powerful combination: automatic gate movement, electric locking with position detection and a stable power supply.

The solution allows central activation via the alarm system and enables manual operation in the event of a power failure.

One of the highlights of the week was the open day at Darus, where visitors had the chance to discover our solutions up close, experience live product demonstrations and connect with our team. ⚙️

A big thank you to Darus for the warm welcome, to Maternowski for leading this part of the journey and to everyone who stopped by.

After a short stop in Belgium, where the Roadshow Van has been updated with the newest innovations, it will travel on to Spain. 🙌

This week, the Red Dot Design Award for MAGNUS officially found its place in our cabinet. A great opportunity to look back on a year in which we at Locinox received several recognitions.

The Red Dot Design Award celebrates outstanding product design where form, functionality and user experience come together. For MAGNUS, it is a great confirmation of how strength, technology and design are combined in one solution for gates.

We also received the iF Design Award for VENUS. This international recognition highlights innovative products with thoughtful design and clear added value for the user. For VENUS, it confirms that smart automation, safety and easy installation can go perfectly hand in hand. ✨
