𝗕𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗮𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘄𝗲𝗻 𝗸𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗻.

Het BRUNO-project van DMOA architecten wint de prijs voor ‘Radicale Vernieuwer’ en zet in op betaalbare woningen binnen een slim en duurzaam model.

Wat dit project extra interessant maakt? Het wordt gerealiseerd met Carbstone bouwblokken: een circulair en CO2-negatief alternatief voor traditionele bouwmaterialen. Door het gebruik van gerecycleerde grondstoffen en een cementvrij productieproces, nemen deze blokken zelfs CO2 op in plaats van uit te stoten.

🇳🇱 De Corda Arena krijgt steeds meer vorm in Hasselt. Op 13 november opent deze next gen tech venue officieel tijdens de slotdag van Flanders Technology & Innovation. Het wordt geen klassieke eventlocatie, maar een plek waar fysieke, digitale en virtuele beleving samenkomen met duurzaamheid als fundament. De arena wordt gebouwd met Carbstone bouwblokken: circulair, cementvrij en CO₂-negatief. Ze nemen zelfs CO₂ op tijdens hun levenscyclus.

Le 13 novembre prochain, ce complexe évènementiel et technologique ultramoderne ouvrira officiellement ses portes à l'occasion de la journée de clôture du festival “Flanders Technology & Innovation”. Bien plus qu’un lieu évènementiel classique, la Corda Arena sera un espace où expériences physiques, digitales et virtuelles se rencontrent, avec la durabilité au cœur du projet. Ce bâtiment a été construit avec des blocs Carbstone : circulaires, sans ciment et à empreinte carbone négative. While CO₂ is emitted during the production process of most construction materials, our Carbstone T-beams and pots actually absorb even more. While the production of traditional concrete releases CO₂ into the atmosphere, our products do exactly the opposite. And this is not magic, this is chemistry.
How? Through carbonation.

Carbonation is a natural process in which certain components react with CO₂. Carbon dioxide penetrates the porous structure of the material and combines with its components to form stable limestone, permanently locked into this durable concrete.

The result: every Carbstone T-beam and pot installed on your project actively captures carbon throughout its lifecycle. The larger the surface area, the greater the absorption. These products actively help clean the air.
