Centuries-old beams cut across the ceiling at their own angels. Every new line in this house had to bend around what history left behind.

Light through old windows, warm wood on every wall, a hint of brass to catch it all.

We believe that the best architecture is born where daily practice and the academic world collide. That's why our founders, Ann-Sophie and Bram dived headfirst into the graduation juries for the Architecture program at LUCA School of Arts Ghent and Brussels.

Under the highly topical theme "Rethinking Public Space", students were challenged to unleash a fresh vision on four iconic locations: the Boekentoren, Trafiek in Ghent, the Royal Library and the Rotonde in Brussels. The result? Critical analysis and bold design with real social impact.

But our academic tour didn't stop there. We were also invited to bring our expertise to the table during the final thesis evaluations at HOGent, Campus Bijloke.

This is just the beginning for tomorrow's designers, and we're proud to be part of their story.

Nestled in the green surroundings near Brussels, we transformed a historic farmhouse with an old mill on the grounds into a contemporary home. We aimed for a balance between the original elements and a clean, new structure.

One of the most personal spaces in the house is the home office. The workspace was designed with the client's passion in mind: cycling. Not just the sport itself, but its stories and history, a subject he knows through and through as an author. By integrating this in an architectural way, the room gained its own identity that aligns with the owner's lifestyle.

From historic heritage to a unique home.

For this project nearby Aalst, we had the opportunity to transform a former Karmel monastery into a contemporary loft. Project Karmel demonstrates how a property's rich history can beautifully blend with modern living comfort.

For project Geraard, the focus was to create a serene living environment where indoor and outdoor spaces blend seamlessly. Maximizing natural light with large glass panels connect the garden with the interior, drawing in a natural flow of light.

Inside, a minimalist palette of natural materials and soft tones evokes a sense of calm. The open-plan kitchen serves as the heart of the home. The fireplace defines the lounge area, while full-height doors and flexible walls offer the option to open up the spaces.
