« STACCATO » SHELF
BERLIN - 1988/90

Designed in the 1990s, the Staccato shelving system combines natural stone and stainless steel in a minimalist, architectural composition. Thick stone shelves appear to float between slender metal uprights, creating a subtle balance between the raw strength of stone and the lightness of the structure.
Its name, Staccato, borrowed from the musical term, refers to the rhythmic arrangement of the shelves. Both functional and sculptural, Staccato is an iconic design of the 1990s, where structural precision meets timeless contemporary elegance.

XAVIER PAUCHARD
« KUB » TABLE FOR TOLIX
FRANCE - 1950’S

Born into a family of zinc roofers, Xavier Pauchard applied his expertise in galvanization to revolutionize furniture design. In the 1920s, he founded Tolix, creating iconic steel furniture that combined durability, functionality, and timeless industrial aesthetics.
Designed in the 1950s, the Kub table perfectly reflects this vision. With its clean lines and raw materiality, it embodies the essence of industrial design. This particular piece was lacquered in yellow by one of our craftsmen, adding a bold contemporary touch to this timeless classic.

PETER DRAENERT
COFFEE TABLE
GERMANY - 1970’S

Peter Draenert is renowned for his pioneering use of natural stone, placing it at the heart of his design philosophy. Combining exceptional craftsmanship with technical innovation, he developed a distinctive design language in which the raw power of stone is elevated through pure, architectural forms.
This coffee table perfectly embodies that vision. Its substantial solid slate top rests on a cubic polished stainless steel base that visually blends into its surroundings. Through the play of reflections, the stone appears to float effortlessly, creating a striking contrast between the material’s weight and the lightness of its perceived form.

BRUTALIST COFFEE TABLE
1970’S

Rare Brutalist coffee table featuring a solid granite base and a thick glass top with softly rounded edges. The base is composed of two interlocking granite slabs arranged in a cross formation, creating a structure that is as ingenious as it is sculptural.
This piece perfectly embodies the paradox of Brutalist design: the visual strength of raw materials is balanced by a remarkable sense of structural lightness. The glass top appears to float above its mineral base, giving the composition a feeling of suspension and timelessness. A striking presence that is both architectural and elegantly refined.
