As part of the EU TIME4CLAY&LIME project, of which UNIEP is a partner, the specialist conference ‘Lime and Clay’ was held at the Kartause Mauerbach (Austria).

Experts in craftsmanship, cultural heritage conservation, architecture, and research outlined the characteristics, potential applications, and current significance of these traditional building materials.

Obrtno-podjetniška zbornica Slovenije, a UNIEP Member, is pleased to invite you to the Humanitarian Painting Campaign - Slovenia 2026, to be held in Kranj on 27 November 2026.

OZS would be delighted to welcome painters, apprentices, and trainers from across Europe to collaborate with their Slovenian peers, exchange insights, and learn from one another.

The host city of this year’s Humanitarian Painting Action has a long tradition of international cooperation and friendship.

On 28 and 29 April, UNIEP and the partners of the Time4Clay&Lime project met in Mauerbach, Austria, hosted by IAGF (Institut für Angewandte Gewerbeforschung).

The project aims to develop practical solutions for the use of lime and clay in modern construction. These solutions will be incorporated into training courses and qualifications for the painting sector, including micro-credentials and a model qualification at the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Level 5.
