UCLouvain – Université catholique de Louvain has inaugurated a highly secure facility where researchers can study viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 and bacteria responsible for anthrax and tuberculosis.

Combining BSL-3 containment with state-of-the-art atomic force microscopy, the laboratory will help scientists better understand pathogens and develop new treatments.

A major milestone in the transformation of the Mendel Tower by MODULO architects and Sweco Belgium. Proud of this achievement and our strong collaboration.

Integrated Psychiatry Institute - IPI, Brussels, 2024.

Nearing final acceptance, this new psychiatric care environment for / brings together clinical units, ambulatory care, therapy spaces, education and research.

Three wings open towards the Woluwe valley, with daylight, views, green roofs and soft internal curves shaping a calm and non-institutional atmosphere.

🌿 Official opening of ’s new high-tech and fossil-free Core Facilities Greenhouse Complex in Heverlee.

Designed by MODULO architects, the project combines advanced greenhouse facilities, laboratories, teaching spaces and technical infrastructure within one integrated architectural environment for research and education.

Developed for the and several KU Leuven research departments, the complex supports innovative research into sustainable crop production, plant health, climate resilience and food security.

Proud to have contributed to this future-oriented research infrastructure together with KU Leuven and all project partners.
