Winning project for a public activity area in Auderghem, featuring two hangars.

Located in the protected Forêt de Soignes, the design aims to blend seamlessly into its natural surroundings, drawing inspiration from tree-lined paths and the gentle topography.

The project follows principles of green architecture, using lightweight wooden structures and outdoor spaces that are discreetly integrated within the existing vegetation. Both buildings are constructed in wood and clad in black locust, a local species.

Their simple volumes contrast with irregular façades, creating dynamic shadows and a subtle visual presence when viewed from the surrounding fields.

Located in a classic house in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, this interior design project reorganises the space around two simple interventions: the addition of two new staircases and the creation of openings between rooms.

The main staircase separates the circulation flows within the house, making movement between floors more dynamic and functional. The second staircase, positioned in the entrance hall, integrates a ramp that ensures smooth access, including for bicycles, while subtly incorporating a hidden entrance to the basement.

The newly created openings not only enhance natural light, even in the deepest areas of the house, but also establish new visual connections and interactions between spaces, elegantly framed by slim metal profiles. Cutting through walls and floors, these black-outlined openings inscribe a clear geometric drawing throughout the house.

Winner project of the "Prix d'architecture de Woluwe-Saint-Pierre 2021" category extension, renovation or transformation
