We are delighted to announce that, together with Beng Architectes Associés , MULTIPLE has been selected to transform Troisvierges station, in the north of Luxembourg.
The project includes a new railway station and bus station, new platforms and tracks, and public spaces connecting the valley’s soft-mobility routes. It also includes a new site for the Infrastructure Maintenance service, with a new building and access, as well as a new northern rail connection, including a tunnel and the widening of the existing railway infrastructure.
A station does not settle into a valley: it produces it. Since 1866, the railway has shaped Troisvierges, connecting the town, the slopes and the plateau, and turning the valley floor into a place rather than simply a passage. We inherit this history; we do not start from a blank page.
This is what we call Fertile Infrastructure: not a collection of technical objects placed in an empty landscape, but an infrastructure that connects, organises and gives shape to the territory it crosses.
We thank CFL for their trust, and Beng Architectes Associés for this partnership.
We look forward to the journey ahead!
