First days back at school! ✌️

SPEL in Sint-Amands is a flexible, multifunctional building combining sports hall and after-school childcare, with an adjoining playground and park framed by a multifunctional canopy.

All spaces are open to the wider neighbourhood, extending their use beyond school hours.

Our multifunctional petanque luifelt in Puurs-Sint-Amands was recently completed. 🦚

A small intervention for the local community of petanque players (and their animals) now - that temperatures are back to normal - is ready for its everyday users again.

A 12 × 12 m roof resting on just four slender columns. Placed at the centre of the square, it provides shelter while keeping the space open and connected in all directions. Rainwater is guided through the columns directly into the adjacent wadi, integrating the structure into the surrounding landscape.

SANTA — OFFICIALLY RESTARTED!

We’ve officially restarted working on the project SANTA — renovation and extension of the St. Anthony Abbot Church in Muide-Meulestede in Ghent. It will soon become a cultural centre in one of Ghent’s most dynamically evolving neighbourhoods!

The project preserves the existing church while introducing the facilities needed for the new use. Additional side naves create a soft transition between park and building, forming new spaces and opening the church towards its surroundings.

We’re back in the office after the summer break, recharged and ready for the exiting season ahead! ☀️🐝

Before the holidays, we submitted building permit for the project 68HAM, a renovation of a single-family house in Brussels.

A tiny garden was enlarged by bringing a multifunctional terrace inside. We removed a part of the floor to create a double-height living space, connecting the kitchen on the lower level with the living room above. A sculptural staircase ties the two levels together.

A façade hidden beneath crépi!

Originally composed of red brick and blue stone, the façade of this early 20th-century townhouse was later a subject of “modernisation” that disrupted its original proportions and deprived it of its architectural detail.

👀 Through archival research and on-site investigations, we are gradually piecing together its history.

Located on Avenue de Tervuren in Brussels, 70MONT is a maison de maître that will be converted into three apartments. Understanding the building’s history and character provides an essential foundation for its future transformation.

The kitchen is ready for summer! ☀️☀️☀️

In our project VLAK, shed roof floats over an open space nested in the garden, where cooking, eating, gardening and sharing time will blend into the rhythm of warm days ahead.

Project 67TITIAAN is a house renovation where the focus is on preserving the original character — existing elements and materials, imperfections, and the patina built over time.

New steel beams open up the interiors and support movable elements with different functions, organising the space where heritage becomes an active part of everyday life.
