Main stage for Ten Lives, May 2026.
Early this year, I experienced a loss that changes a person forever. Two months later, I loaded up my tools and drove from Belgium to Portugal, saying yes to a fresh, regenerative start. The Ten Lives Festival exists to plant trees and construct smile bunds—swales crafted on slopes to slow water and hold moisture in the soil, restoring life to arid ground.
I designed a stage crafted from thin wooden sticks: a resilient, modular structure built to adapt, expand, and be dismantled rather than discarded.
Over the course of a week, we planted seeds for a brighter future and celebrated amid nature through music—making space for both grief and joy to live side by side.
