RETROFIT - We renovate and refurbish existing houses with offsite produced facades and roofs. Completing home makeovers at an incredible speed.

A chapter closes for BuildUp, but beSteel Light steel framing keeps moving forward. 🏗️

After several months of reflection, BuildUp has decided to cease its operations, closing an important chapter in offsite construction. This marks the end of a journey that began in 2021, driven by a strong conviction: the construction sector must radically transform to become more frugal, more precise, and more circular.

To promote this bold industrial model, we took risks — but we were unfortunately unable to overcome all the challenges we faced, particularly those linked to rapid growth, perhaps too rapid. While the BuildUp brand fades today, the innovation we championed continues to move forward.

beSteel carries on. 🤝

We are very pleased to announce that the assets of beSteel (founded in 2015) have been transferred to the company SWEELCO, created and led by Damien Muller and Pierre Rougeulle.

This transfer allows beSteel's historic expertise to endure and find new momentum. By joining Sweelco, beSteel becomes part of a structured and ambitious industrial project built around a shared mission: to design and produce every day "light & smart" constructive solutions.

Thank you to all those without whom this adventure would not have been possible:
