Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors, drawing inspiration from nature for his design work. ons. He is currently working as the Managing Director of D8 Consultants Ltd. (D8CL) - an infrastructure design consulting firm headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Also servicing as the CEO of Jaher Design & Consultancy (JDC) - a local engineering consulting firm providing design services for building design in Bangladesh. Jaher's leadership is defined by creating an environment where everyone can experience a meaningful connection between their career at D8CL and what matters most to them in their personal lives. He is committed to continuing to grow the firm through Higher Relationships, both internally and externally. Jaher has a keen eye for delivering quality projects that meet client needs and is driven by efficiency and measurable outcomes. He is dedicated to continual learning, specifically focusing on how our firm can collaborate with our clients to achieve optimal solutions for their rapidly changing needs. Before founding D8CL, Jaher worked at Development Design Consultants Ltd. (DDC) and Mantissa Design & Consultant (MDC) as Structural Design Engineer. He is a graduate of the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) with a civil engineering degree. He is a client-focused engineer with working knowledge of latest reinforced concrete and structural steel design; practiced in developing personal client relationships based on trust and quality deliverables. Proficient in analysis and design of the building and bridge related seismic-resistant structures using E-TABS, STAAD Pro, SAP 2000, Midas Civil, CSI Bridge, and CSI SAFE. Distinguished for the thorough knowledge and understanding of BNBC 2017, IBC, ASCE, ACI, AASHTO, IRC, AISC, ASTM standards, and specifications and for excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Outside the office, Jaher spends time with his wife and two children and enjoys playing chess and running with friends.
