After all the necessary preparations have been made, we would like to highlight a project that is about to enter its construction phase. We are responsible for the architectural and structural design of this project. Additionally, we will oversee the construction when it begins.

This project illustrates our capacity to construct buildings that serve multiple purposes. This New York-based project is an energy-efficient mid-rise building with a total floor area of 17,727 square feet.

Designed with reinforced concrete flat-slab construction and lateral stability provided by shear walls at the elevator core, the building is planned to feature healthcare facilities on the first floor with supporting services located in the cellar. The remaining seven floors will be dedicated to residential use, with 2 living units on each floor; there is a total of 14 living units in the building.

In summary, this New York project exemplifies our ability to construct multi-functional, energy efficient structures that can accommodate a variety of functional requirements, such as medical and residential.

Long overdue trip to Petronas Tower, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ever since I started my career as a Structural engineer at Thornton Tomasetti in 2000, (https://www.thorntontomasetti.com/), I always thought that once I would visit Petronas.
Thornton-Tomasetti Engineers was the lead structural engineer (working with engineer-of-record Ranhill Bersekutu, a Malaysian firm) on the Petronas Twin Towers. Few of my colleagues who were directly involved with the design and construction of the project, often used to talk about their experiences;
The PETRONAS Twin Towers were the world's tallest buildings from 1998-2004.
• The buildings feature mixed construction: high-strength concrete columns, ring beams and core, with steel-framed floors.
• Special features include extremely deep foundations over uneven rock.
• Pinnacles of structural stainless steel and
A two-story Skybridge spanning between buildings 500 feet in the air.
