Design & Creative Lead: K - Perspective & Architects
Project Timeline: August 2025 - November 2025

Inspired by our client's deep connection to the Middle East, LAYALI was envisioned as an immersive cave-inspired dining experience where architecture, texture, lighting, and custom-crafted furniture come together to tell a story.

From the organic cave formations and earthy tones to the handcrafted furniture pieces, every detail was designed to recreate the warmth, mystery, and beauty of the desert landscapes that shaped our client's memories.

As one of the earliest cave-themed restaurant interiors in Dhaka, we are proud to have introduced a concept that has since inspired many others across the industry. It is incredibly rewarding to see fellow restaurants embrace similar design directions, knowing that great ideas spark creativity and push the industry forward.

Since opening its doors, LAYALI has been warmly received by the people of Dhaka, and we couldn't be happier to have transformed a dream into a destination.

Presenting one of our most immersive hospitality interior projects — LAYALI, located in Gulshan 2.

Designed and executed by K-Perspective & Architects, this project was deeply inspired by the client’s roots in the Middle East — where life revolved around the desert, the sea, warm gatherings, and rich Middle Eastern cuisine. Their dream was simple yet powerful: to recreate the feeling of dining inside a cave right here in Dhaka.

From the organic textures to the uneven surfaces, the carved depths, warm earthy palette, ambient lighting, and handcrafted custom furniture — every detail was carefully designed to create an experience rather than just a restaurant interior. The highs and lows of the cave-like form were intentionally preserved to evoke rawness, warmth, and intimacy.

What makes this journey even more special is seeing how beautifully the people of Dhaka have embraced the space since its opening in January 2026. Watching guests appreciate the atmosphere, the detailing, and the storytelling through architecture has been incredibly rewarding for us as a firm.

We are finally excited to share our recent works publicly and inspire those who appreciate experiential architecture and bold interior concepts. Sometimes, great design begins with a vision people are afraid to attempt — and we’re proud to help bring those dreams to life.

আজকের এই দিনটি শুধু একটি ইতিহাস নয়, এটি আমাদের অস্তিত্ব, আমাদের পরিচয়।
১৯৭১-এর সেই সাহসী মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা তাঁদের রক্ত, ত্যাগ আর অদম্য সাহস দিয়ে এঁকেছিলেন একটি নতুন দেশের blueprint — a nation built on freedom, dignity, and hope.

We stand today because they stood fearless.
