Our Founder, Mohammad Fazlul Azim, brought Azim Group into existence in 1975. We have been involved in RMG sector since its inception in Bangladesh, with our first garment factory starting operations on 23 January, 1980. Azim Group has 13 garment manufacturing units and four backward linkage units, located in the cities of Dhaka and Chittagong. We have well-trained, experienced and vigilante manag

ement teams operating from our offices in Dhaka, Chittagong, Hong Kong and New York. We are active in other sectors too - Engineering, Steel and Agro. In 2018, Azim Group started operations on its new steel manufacturing firm - Global Steel and Engineering Ltd (GSEL). The necessity of more energy and electricity across Bangladesh inspired us to start our steel project, GSEL, in order to meet the rising demand for electrical towers used in electricity transmission, telecom and electrical line hardware. We hope to form successful partnerships and create at least 1000 new jobs. What started as a one-man-band has now become an ever-growing organization maintaining smooth business activities and constantly exploring new opportunities. We take great pride in our strengths, which are - honesty, sincerity and dedication.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Mahmud Hasan Khan on 20 March 2026 - the last Friday of holy Ramadan. Mahmud Hasan Khan was a pioneer in Bangladesh's manpower export and air travel services sectors. His contributions to these two sectors as one of the earliest successful entrepreneurs in Bangladesh will be remembered.

Mahmud Hasan Khan was a generous and big-hearted man. He was a lifelong well-wisher of Azim Group. We pray to the Almighty to grant him Jannatul Ferdous, and to bestow patience and strength upon his family to bear with this irreparable loss.
