Residencial Interior | 2024
There is a Bangla word that might perfectly describe this space — “Simple er moddhe Gorgeous.”
That is probably the first thing that comes to your mind when you see this.
Our primary goal was to ensure maximum sunlight enters the room while keeping the overall design simple and comfortable. The room setup was a bit interesting, especially because we had to balance the furniture, circulation and natural light without making the space feel overloaded.

But the cabinet is probably the most interesting part for us. A simple composition of different materials and colors created a completely different character.

Sometimes, you don't need too many elements to make a space stand out. Just the right composition can do the job. :)

Today's color :
Warm Sand / Caramel Beige

Exterior wall
Warm, earthy and natural. This color works beautifully on facades with exposed brick, stone, concrete and greenery. It gives the building a softer character and works especially well in residential and contemporary architecture.

Interior Wall
A very comfortable interior color. It creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere without becoming too strong. Works nicely with natural wood, off-white, cream and muted green tones.

Floor
A good choice for creating a warm and grounded base. It works especially well with wood-look tiles, stone and matte finishes. Since it is a medium warm tone, it can make a space feel more connected and comfortable.

Ceiling
A subtle choice for adding warmth, especially when the rest of the interior is kept light. It can work well in larger rooms, but for smaller spaces a lighter ceiling would help maintain openness.

Overall: A warm earthy neutral that brings softness, comfort and a natural character to both exterior and interior spaces.

Open Kitchen | 2021 | Studio Apartment
This open kitchen was a part of a small studio apartment project.
The space was limited, but that doesn't mean the design had to be.

As a studio apartment, our main challenge was to maximize the use of every inch without making the space feel crowded. We introduced a multipurpose table that works with the kitchen workflow instead of becoming an extra obstacle.

It can be used for dining, preparation, working or simply as an extension of the kitchen when needed. The idea was simple — every element should have a purpose and work together with the way people actually use the space.

Small space doesn't always mean less. Sometimes, it just means we have to think a little smarter. :)
Oh ! today's color
— Slate Blue Grey

Exterior wall
A strong and contemporary color for facades. It feels solid and sophisticated without the harshness of pure black. Works especially well with concrete, light stone, brick, timber and greenery.

Interior Wall
Creates a calm, focused and slightly dramatic atmosphere. It works beautifully as a feature wall in offices, bedrooms, living rooms and meeting spaces. Pairing it with warm whites and natural wood keeps it from feeling too cold.

Floor
A practical and grounding option. Its darker tone can give the floor a stable, solid character and is especially suitable for stone, tiles or carpet. Best balanced with lighter walls and ceiling.

Ceiling
Quite bold. It can make a large or high ceiling feel more intimate and sophisticated. In smaller spaces, however, it may make the room feel darker and visually lower, so selective use is better.

Overall: A sophisticated blue-grey that sits between cool and neutral, bringing depth, calmness and a contemporary architectural character to a space.

A contemporary washroom doesn't always need too many elements to create an impact.

Washroom | 2023 | Gushan

Here we tried to keep the design simple, but the rough stone textured wall brings the entire space to life. It creates depth and gives the washroom a natural, raw feeling, while the contemporary fixtures and clean lines keep everything balanced.

The interesting part is how a single textured surface can completely change the character of an otherwise simple space.

Sometimes, material itself becomes the decoration.

Today's Feature Color
#716760 — Warm Greige / Taupe Grey

Exterior wall
A calm and mature neutral that works very well on contemporary facades. It feels softer than charcoal and warmer than a typical grey. Pairs nicely with concrete, stone, wood, black frames and greenery.

Interior Wall
One of the safest applications for this color. It creates a sophisticated and comfortable background without demanding too much attention. Great for living spaces, offices, bedrooms and feature walls.

Floor
Very practical as a flooring tone because it hides dust and minor visual imperfections better than very light colors. It gives the floor a grounded and stable feeling, especially when combined with lighter walls and natural materials.

Ceiling
A subtle option when you want the ceiling to feel warmer without making it too dramatic. It can work nicely in larger spaces, but in smaller rooms a lighter ceiling would help maintain a sense of openness.

Overall: A versatile warm grey that brings balance, softness and a contemporary character to both exterior and interior spaces.

Resort | 2021 Landscape
This detailed feature wall was created strategically using Rhino 6.5.

The idea was not just to create a visually interesting wall, but to create a mysterious experience for the tourists who came to spend their free time.

The detailing, form and overall composition were designed to make people curious and encourage them to explore the space.

But the most interesting part of this project was that we needed to create a virtual experience as well.

So, we created 360° renders that could be experienced through a VR Box.

Back then, creating a virtual walkthrough like this was quite an exciting challenge. It was a great experience to work on something where the visualization itself became part of the project.

About the featured color:
#394612 — Deep Teal / Forest Blue-Green
Exterior wall
Deep, bold and sophisticated. This color gives a facade a strong architectural presence and works especially well with concrete, light stone, warm wood and greenery. Best used as an accent or on selected facade volumes rather than covering the entire building.

Interior Wall
Creates a calm, intimate and slightly dramatic atmosphere. It can make a feature wall feel deep and rich without becoming as heavy as black. Works particularly well in lounges, meeting rooms, reception areas and creative spaces.

Floor
A strong grounding color, but quite dominant. It works better through patterned tiles, carpet or selected flooring zones rather than across an entire floor. Pair it with lighter walls and warm materials to keep the space balanced.

Ceiling
Dramatic and atmospheric. It can work beautifully in high-ceilinged spaces, lounges or hospitality interiors where intimacy is desired. In smaller rooms, however, it may make the ceiling feel lower and the space darker.

Overall: A deep blue-green that brings depth, sophistication and a slightly mysterious character to architecture and interiors.

Blue Transport vs Grey Transport
When we talk about urban transportation, we usually imagine roads, cars, buses and concrete infrastructure. The grey transport network.

But what if the city could move people through water as well?
Grey transport gives us roads and highways — fast, direct and familiar. But it also demands huge amounts of land, creates congestion and often separates the city from its natural systems.

Blue transport can work differently.
A river, canal or waterfront can become more than just a landscape element. It can become part of the city's transportation network while also creating public spaces, improving the urban environment and reconnecting people with water.

The question is not really about choosing blue or grey. It is about how we can make both systems work together. Maybe the future city doesn't need more roads everywhere.
Maybe sometimes, we just need to look at the water differently. 🌊

So, today's Color is quite interesting
— Soft Peach / Warm Coral

Exterior wall
Best when used selectively rather than across the entire facade.
Interior Wall
One of the strongest applications for this color. It creates a warm, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. It can work beautifully in living spaces, cafés, creative studios, children's spaces and informal work areas.
Floor
A softer choice for flooring. Better use deeper terracotta colors.

Ceiling
Can create a surprisingly cozy atmosphere, especially in hospitality or intimate spaces. However, because of its warm tone, it may visually lower the ceiling. Better as a partial ceiling, soffit or accent rather than a full ceiling treatment.

Overall: A soft, warm color that brings optimism, comfort and a welcoming character into a space. 🌅

Residential Area | 2021 | Lumion 11

The site was huge—almost too huge for SketchUp 2018 to handle comfortably. 😅 We had to work with a massive model while keeping everything manageable enough to actually visualize.

We followed the provided masterplan and tried to develop the final phase of the project as accurately as possible.

This was definitely one of the heaviest files we had to deal with at that time. There were a lot of challenges and probably a lot of patience involved. 😂
But looking back, it was a great learning experience. Every heavy project taught us something new about modelling, optimization and visualization workflows.

Another Day _ Another Color
#739033 — Deep Olive Green

Exterior wall
Natural, grounded and bold. This deep olive green works beautifully with concrete, exposed brick, natural stone and greenery. It can give a building a strong connection with its surroundings without feeling too artificial.

Interior Wall
Creates a calm, mature and slightly intimate atmosphere. Best used as a feature wall or in spaces where you want a deeper sense of character. Works especially well with warm white and natural wood.

Floor
A strong choice when used through natural-looking materials such as stone, tiles or carpet. It gives the floor a grounded feeling, but using it across a large area can make the space feel darker.

Ceiling
Quite dramatic. It can make a large or high-ceilinged space feel more intimate and comfortable. For smaller rooms, however, it may feel heavy, so using it on selected ceiling portions or soffits would work better.

Overall: A deep, earthy green that brings nature, calmness and a strong architectural character into a space. 🌿

G+5 Stories | 2021 | Khulna | Lumion 10

Back in the early days of architectural visualization, before AI could do half the work for us, creating a good visualization meant long hours, patience, and a lot of trial and error.** 😅

This six-storied project was modelled in SketchUp and visualized in Lumion 10, as an initiative by Offgrid Studio, Khulna. It was a great collaboration and one of those projects that taught us a lot along the way.

The primary design intention was simple but important: maximize natural light and cross ventilation through carefully planned openings.

And then there’s the facade. 😍

NOW THE COLOR PART: Today's Color is
— Muted Terracotta / Dusty Clay

Exterior wall
Warm, earthy and grounded. Works beautifully with brick, concrete, stone and greenery. It gives the facade a natural character and feels especially good in contemporary architecture.

Interior Wall
Probably the strongest use of this color. It creates a warm, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere without becoming too loud. Great for feature walls, lounges, reception areas and creative spaces.

Floor
Gives a grounded and earthy feeling, but can become visually heavy when used over a large area. Works better with lighter walls and ceiling, especially with terracotta tiles or muted flooring materials.

Ceiling
A little tricky. It can make a space feel warmer and more intimate, but may also make the ceiling feel visually lower. Better suited for selected soffits or feature ceilings rather than the entire ceiling.

Overall: A warm architectural color that brings a natural, human feeling into a space. 🧱

Powerplant | 2020 | Lumion 10

One of our remarkable contributions to a project of this scale. ⚡🏗️

Back in 2020, we received the project model in Navisworks format—a software and workflow that was completely unfamiliar to us at the time.

Instead of seeing that as a limitation, we decided to learn it, understand the workflow, and make it work.

That process itself became one of the most valuable parts of the project. It pushed us to explore new software, adapt to an unfamiliar model, and ultimately turn it into a visualization workflow using Lumion 10.

Looking back, some projects are memorable not only because of the final image, but because of what they taught us along the way.

And this was definitely one of them.

We’re now going back through our archive and sharing some of our unpublished work from the journey—projects that have been sitting quietly in our folders for years.

Today's Color is — Muted Slate Blue
Character: Soft · Calm · Professional · Cool · Contemporary

This is a desaturated medium blue—less energetic than royal blue and less grey than a typical slate blue. In interiors, it works particularly well when you want color without visual aggression.
On walls:
It can make a room feel more open and slightly cooler, particularly when paired with white or very light neutral surfaces.

On a feature wall:
It creates depth without the heaviness you might get from navy or charcoal.

On ceilings:
It can produce an interesting sky-like effect, but I'd use it carefully. A low ceiling covered entirely in this color may feel cooler and visually lower unless the room receives generous daylight.

On cabinetry/furniture:
It becomes much more sophisticated because the color is concentrated into smaller visual masses.
