⚡️Public charging is growing across Malaysia—and that's great news for EV owners.

It's perfect for travelling, shopping malls, emergencies, and quick top-ups.

⚠️But if you're driving your EV every day, ask yourself this:
Do you really want your daily routine to depend on charger availability, queues, or charging apps?

For many EV owners, charging at home simply becomes easier. You park, plug in, and wake up ready to drive.

However, before buying a charger, make sure your home's electrical system is properly assessed first. The right charger depends on your home's electrical setup—not just the biggest number on the box!

If you're planning to install an EV charger, we're happy to help you assess your home before making that decision.

Public charging is useful. We need more public chargers, better uptime, better locations, and fair pricing.

But for daily EV ownership, the biggest confidence usually comes from home charging, if your home can support it properly.

Public charging still depends on bay availability, app access, pricing, uptime, and whether someone else is already using the charger. Home charging is different. You park, plug in, and wake up with enough range for your normal routine.

But home charging should not be treated as just buying a wall box. A 7kW charger can be a continuous high-current load. Your installer should check your incoming supply, existing home load, DB condition, cable route, protection devices, earthing, charger location, testing and commissioning.

Dynamic Load Balancing can help suitable homes manage available capacity, but it does not create extra supply. The EV onboard charger also decides the AC charging limit, not the wall box alone.

Let our obsession with quality protect your safety.

Because when it comes to EV charging and electrical systems, there's no room for compromise.

More charging power isn’t always the smarter choice.

⚡️Think about all the electrical appliances you use every day…
Your air conditioner, washing machine, oven, water heater and many other appliances are all sharing your home’s electrical supply. When your EV charger is added to the mix, your home’s total electricity demand can increase by A LOT.

🌟 That’s where Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB) can make a difference!

Rather than charging at maximum power all the time, DLB automatically adjusts your EV charger’s power based on your home’s real-time electricity usage. This helps your charger work more efficiently alongside your other household appliances.
However, smart features are only one part of the solution.

A reliable home EV charging system also depends on proper electrical design, quality workmanship, the right protection devices, and thorough testing. That’s why every installation should be planned around your home’s electrical setup—not just the charger on the wall!

💬❓ Not sure if your home would benefit from DLB? Let us help you assess your home’s electrical system and recommend the right charging solution today!

Does a 7kW EV charger need to charge at 7kW all night?

❌ Not necessarily.

One of the most common misconceptions about home EV charging is that : “Your charger should always operate at its maximum rated power.”

But in reality, 7kW simply refers to the maximum charging output the charger is capable of delivering.
For most EV owners, the car is parked at home for many hours overnight.

That means there’s usually more than enough time to replace the energy used during your daily commute—without needing to charge at maximum speed the entire time.

The goal of home charging isn’t to charge as fast as possible.
It’s to charge efficiently, safely, and reliably, so you wake up every morning with enough battery for the day ahead.🔋✅

Understanding how your charger works can help you make better decisions when choosing the right charging solution for your home. ⚡️

A 7 kW charger doesn't mean you must charge at 7 kW every night.

We often see this misunderstanding. Once a customer installs a 7 kW home charger, they assume they should always charge at 7 kW.

Actually, 7 kW is a capability, not an obligation. The real question is not how fast the charger can run, but how much energy do you need to recover, and how many hours do you have to do it safely?

If you drive around 100 km a day and your EV uses about 12 kWh per 100 km, you only need about 12 kWh back into the car. If the car is parked for 10 hours overnight, that's roughly 1.2 kW average power before accounting for real-world losses.

That's far below 7 kW. This doesn't mean 7 kW charging is bad; it's useful when you need faster recovery, have a bigger battery, multiple EVs, or longer trips.

But for daily home charging, many owners don't need full power every night.

This is especially important in Malaysian homes where the EV charger shares the home supply with air conditioners, water heaters, kitchen appliances, dryers, and other loads.

That's why adjustable charging current and Dynamic Load Balancing are useful. They help the charger work within the home's real electrical limits instead of blindly pushing maximum output all the time.

But smart charging doesn't replace proper installation. You still need correct cable size, dedicated circuit, MCB, RCCB, isolator, earthing, and testing.

The best home charging system is not always the fastest system; it's the one that fits your home and gives you safe, reliable charging every day.

Let our obsession with quality protect your safety.

Because when it comes to EV charging and electrical systems, there's no room for compromise.

Home charging is one of the biggest advantages of owning an EV—but only when it’s done properly.

Many people focus on choosing the right wallbox, but the charger is only one part of the overall charging system.

Every home has a different electrical setup, and your EV charger shares the same distribution board and power supply as the rest of your household. That’s why a professional assessment is an important first step before installation.

A reliable EV charging installation isn’t just about the charger itself.

It also includes these fundamentals:
✅ Proper wiring
✅ Correct electrical protection
✅ Quality workmanship
✅ Thorough testing before handover

…to help ensure your EV charger operates safely and reliably, alongside your home’s everyday electrical usage.

When every component is designed and installed correctly, you can enjoy convenient home charging with confidence for YEARS to come.

Smart features can make EV charging more convenient—but they don't replace the fundamentals.

A truly reliable EV charging system starts with the basics:
✔ Proper wiring
✔ Correct electrical protection
✔ Quality workmanship
✔ Thorough testing before handover

Features like Dynamic Load Balancing and smart app controls are designed to enhance your charging experience, but they're only as effective as the installation behind them.

That's why every EV charger should be viewed as part of a complete electrical system—not just a device mounted on the wall.

When every component is designed and installed correctly, you can enjoy a charging solution that's safe, reliable, and built to perform for years to come.

Did you know your EV charger doesn't have its own electrical supply? ⚡

It shares electricity with the rest of your home.

That means every time you switch on your air conditioners, oven, water heater, or other appliances, they're all drawing power from the same electrical system.

This is why a professional EV charger installation involves much more than simply mounting a charger on the wall. Understanding your home's electrical capacity is essential to ensuring your charger operates safely and reliably alongside your everyday appliances.

Whether it's assessing your available electrical load or recommending solutions like Dynamic Load Balancing where appropriate, every installation should be designed around your home's unique electrical setup.

A safe charging experience starts with understanding what's happening behind the walls—not just the charger you see.

21/07/2026

When we install home EV chargers, one of the most important things we look at is not only the charger power.

We also look at how the home uses electricity.

This matters because your EV charger does not operate alone. At night, your home may already be running air conditioners, water heaters, kitchen appliances, dryers, or other high-load equipment.

If the EV charger is also drawing high current at the same time, the total home load can increase very quickly.

This is why Dynamic Load Balancing is useful.

In simple terms, DLB allows the charger to adjust its charging current based on how much power the rest of the house is using.

When the house is using more electricity, the charger can reduce output. When the home load drops, the charger can increase again within the safe configured limit.

It does not create extra power. It does not replace proper installation. You still need correct cable size, dedicated circuit, MCB, RCCB, earthing, isolator, and testing.

But it helps the charger behave more intelligently inside the limits of the home.
For many Malaysian homes, especially single-phase homes, this is more practical than blindly pushing the charger to full power every night or immediately talking about fuse upgrades.

Most EV owners do not need maximum power all the time. What they need is safe, reliable, sufficient charging by the next morning.

That is why we believe DLB should be part of the main charger selection discussion, not treated as an optional luxury.

A good home charging system should be adapted to the home, not force the home to suffer for the charger.

Let our obsession with quality protect your safety.
