PIRANESI AWARDS NOMINATION
Celebrating the best of Central European Architecture
Founded in 1989, the Piranesi Awards honor outstanding architectural achievements from 11 countries across Central Europe. Named after visionary artist Giovanni Battista Piranesi, the awards recognize projects that blend innovation, context, craftsmanship, and contemporary culture.
The Piranesi Awards highlight architecture that respects place, memory, and landscape — and they connect emerging and established architects through the famous Piran Days of Architecture. Many award-winning projects later gain international recognition, making this event a respected gateway to Europe’s architectural scene.
It is one of the oldest regional architectural awards in Europe. Includes both professional and student selections. Hosted in the magical coastal town of Piran, Slovenia and focuses on architecture that creates meaningful impact in its community
A celebration of ideas, identity, and the future of architecture.
