Most people never notice the join—and that’s exactly the point.

This custom 4.5-metre study desk was manufactured using two laminate sheets, with the grain carefully matched so the pattern flows seamlessly across the entire surface.

Because the desk spans around 3 metres without support, we also concealed structural steel within the front edge to prevent sagging while maintaining a clean, floating appearance.

It’s these behind-the-scenes details that make the difference between standard joinery and cabinetry that’s built to last.
