Another solid stormwater pit installation on site with Glanmire Construction.

This one measures 1700mm externally and 1200mm internally, using 1.5m high drums with an additional 350mm section to get the required depth.

The scaffold and stairs provide the crew with safe, secure access and a practical working platform around the pit.

It’s a good example of how the right setup can make a difference on site — and the crew were particularly impressed with the scaffold and stairs. Having easy access and somewhere to carry tools and equipment makes working around the pit much easier. 👌

2100 inner, 2600 outer and 3 metres high, with multiple pipes and safety rails around the partial scaffold.

Great to see our forms being put to work on another project — this time for an OSD tank installation.

Jake from Mega Flow has used our forms on several projects in the past to construct manholes, so he already knew the benefits of our system and how well it performs on site. When this OSD tank project came up, he knew our forms would be the right solution — even though it wasn’t a typical manhole application.

OSD (On-site Stormwater Detention) tanks play an important role in stormwater management by temporarily holding stormwater and controlling the rate it is released into public drainage systems, helping reduce the risk of flooding during heavy rainfall.

Thanks to Jake and the Mega Flow team for sharing these photos with us. It’s always great to see our forms being adapted to provide practical solutions across a range of civil construction projects.

A great example of smart thinking on site by Silverstrand Developments.

For this sewer pump station, the team used our 3600mm outer drum and 3000mm inner drum, adding spacers between the panels to create custom-sized formwork that perfectly suited the project's requirements.

Another great result from site! 👏

Tylim Civil constructed this 4-metre-deep manhole at Campsie, NSW using our 1050 inner and 1350 outer forms.

What makes this system so effective is that the manhole—including the tapered top—can be poured all at once.

Instead of stopping for multiple concrete pours, crews can complete the entire structure in a single pour, helping reduce labour, minimise delays and get the job finished sooner.

Sometimes it's the design of the formwork that makes the biggest difference on site.

Well done to the team at Tylim Civil on another quality installation.

Complex projects call for smart solutions.

Chadoak Plumbing & Drainage recently completed this impressive 7-metre-deep manhole in Victoria while working on a live sewer.

To safely construct the manhole, the team first diverted the live sewer around the excavation, allowing the base and first lift to be poured. The sewer was then reinstated through the new manhole before the structure was raised another 3.5 metres to its final height, with the final lifts completed once surrounding works were finished.

This is exactly the kind of project where Manhole Form Hire's modular formwork comes into its own. Our systems are designed to help contractors tackle challenging manhole construction with confidence, adapting to staged construction and complex site conditions.
